Hi, well I managed to somehow screw up my No Slip install. It didn't function correctly after reassembly. I only had the drivers side functionality, the passenger side just racheted freely. When I tried to remove it I was unable to get the passenger side C-clip to drop out. It went in easily, I have the slots lined up, but it is not dropping free. Any suggestions before I tow it to a shop? Also, the directions did not call for installing the thrust washers, is that correct? I did not install them. I have the open 8.25 rearend, 04 limited. Is there any markings on the components to verify that I was sent the correct part?

Correct, no thrust washer. How did you verify that is was not working properly? If you just did test in the end of the book, then button her up and go for a drive. Mine never did the park and hold test, but works fine on the road. Make sure you road test it.

If you already have road tested it how does it behave? I would assume it pulls to one side, or makes some continious poping, snapping sound.

I currently do not have a digital camera, but am trying to borrow one. I was unable to get the test to work either, but decided to go ahead with the road test. The left side stays engaged, and the right side remains free. I did have some popping and clicking noises, but at no time did it appear to ever engage on the right side. It does pull during acceleration. Now I've screwed with it so much that I'm certain that the paddles are not lined up on the left side. I still have the slots lined up on the right but no luck with the C clip.
