I have a 2002 Limited Edition Liberty. I think there are stock skid plates on these models, would I be correct in saying that?? If so, what are they protecting on the Limiteds??

best way to find out is by crawling under the jeep and looking

I always enjoy those that say "yes I wheeled everywhere with no skids and never had a problem" But remember it only takes that one time and it could be a $2500 trip, in my opinion until you get skids, and tow points do others a favor and stay on the main road.
Not to be a jerk, but thats just the way it is. wasted more than one day helping someone that went where they should not of been. No matter how careful you are it will only be a matter of time!

Although, to be honest, I had "wheeled" an '89 chev sprint for nearly 8 years, and a samurai for another 7 before I did the above damage to my liberty on an innocent looking back road. Total cost was around $1500.
