KK Oil filter Dims and P/N

Unfortunately, John91C has had to find out the hard way that the EAO34 filter for the 02-07 Liberty 3.7L is not the same one that fits the 08 Libertys. We are working the issue to make sure what does fit and get it taken care of.

I Thank John for his patience in dealing with this and helping me work out what the KK uses. In the end, anyone that reads this thread will have learned something. THAT is what This forum is for.

Geez, if you can't trust your dealership with a simple oil change then your really screwed if there needs to be some warranty work done, recalls, or something major happens.......

Tell me about it. I took it in for lower ball joint recall and came home w/ the same lower ball joints that it had when I got there,After they told me they did the work. And that was after a couple days of BS about not having the tool and waiting for parts After my Jeep was already there. Luckily I don't have to worry about it any more. If I need something worked on that I can't handle I will take it an hour South to a better dealer. It would definatley have to be something major under warranty or a safety related recall that I couldn't do myself before I would waste my time though. I certainly wouldn't waste my time taking my Jeep to them to change the oil when I can do it w//out any drama.
