I have the solution....just move the heck out of there! I never move in anywhere unless I can use the garage. Not worth it to have the KJ sit outside or have to work on it outside.

haha tommud,
it is too late, this is actually a new place that we are getting, and we will find a solution, we have no choice.
This is NY, we don't have the luxury of being picky when it comes to garages, it is like golden out here.

Putting on some weight is a good idea, or adjustable weight hooks on the sides of the jeep, before going in, just strap them on 50lbs each to the body and roll the jeep in, unhook them in the morning. hahaha, would be a pretty funny thing! Though jeeps suspension is not that mushy.

Don't feel bad man.
After I put on my Frankenlift, my KJ does not fit in mine anymore either. Mlight bar hit the header. Even if I did not have my lightbar, I would be SQUEEZING and probally crushing my roof. LOL

Kinda sux but my wife is happy now. She gets a storage room for free now.

So it clears the frame just not the door?

If it clears the frame youre ok. Just adjust the door so that it open further.

Get an air compressor for the garage. when you get home, take out enough air out of the tires to clear the door. When you leave, pump them back up.

Blake, I called home depot and they will send someone to measure the door to give me a quote, while he is there we will check if the pipes inside would limit us from hightening the door, as it is the main problem. Even if I have a higher opening, when the door rolls inside it would hit the pipes overhead.

Letting air out of tires is also another good idea, will be hell of a job when I have to go out quickly, though. :)
