So I made an appointment with Greenbier Jeep Dealership here in Norfolk. I'm taking my KJ so they can take a look or do a diagnose on whats going on. Lately, i have been feeling a "jerk" when i'm running at low speeds and low gear. It will do it, like for example first thing in the morning when i go to the gym. i go to work and it wont do it all day when i dont drive it, until like 8 hours later or something. so i called the closest jeep dealer to see if they can take a look at it. i called them and this lady was already "knew" what was going on, and how to fix it. she said i need to leave it there for a day so they can order parts and get it fixed. don't know scared of something else being wrong or getting charged for something. i know my tranny is still under warranty for the next 3,000 miles. so hopefully everything will be alright.

Yeah that blows, I hate having to take cars to the shop...I wish I had all the tools, knowledge, and time to do it all myself...

Greenbrier Jeep is pretty good. Hall's service is good too, as long as you get Baker as your service rep. Good luck with the fix. Keep us posted on what it is. I'm curious to hear what they "know about" already. :?

she didn't say she knew what it was. but she was like yeah, you need to leave it here on wednesday morning so the mechanic can find the problem, do the diagnose, find the parts and fix it. and you come and pick it up on wednesday after noon. i told her i was gonna leave it wednesday afternoon and pick it up thursday afternoon. it was easier for me.. i hope its nothing or something really stupid.

Just bring your wallet...you know how it goes. (at least I do as a girl) They talk down to you and make you feel stupid and then make you pay big.
What do I have to do? Fart in the waiting room to seem more like a guy?.....I'd do it.

    Bringing back memories, When I first worked at a Ford dealership the Service Manager at the time (he later got fired and I got the job) would tell people that all the time, "Oh yes I know exactly what it is , bring it right in" then he would come over to me and say " got someone coming in tomorrow and their car is doing this or that, think you can find out what it is?"
He never had a clue, just wanted people to think he knew, he never turned a wrench in his life!

Lip service is all it is, get you in the door and then thay have you!

Good luck

Yeah right? The military won't mind if I just "borrow" for a bit...it is in my name after all. And hey, it's for a good cause! I can lend it out for a small fee. lol

I was awful shooting the M9 (fingers hurt so bad after loading the mag.) but I'll tell you what gun is awsome....the M14 with the scope. SWEEEET! Just shine that red dot on the mechanics forehead and I'll bet he'll give you a fair deal...no farting required.

Yeah the m14 is my squadron's offical gun.

I don't know if I've ever shot an m11.
What's your afsc or moa?

I dunno, shorter than the m16's, a little easier to carry around.

I thought everyone besides af used moa. my mistake. the navy just calls it job? no acroynom? I thought the navy was a branch of the military

Oh then yes, m4. I've only shot once with my new flight. My gun in my "job" before this flight was the m9 and m16. funny, I actually stopped for a second before I wrote m14 and though, "no, it's the m4"...then I thought, "no, m4's a handgun..." duh. see what happens when you start running on no sleep?
I shoulda had a V8.
