Hello

We're getting some pretty bad rock chipping on the front lower part of the rear "fender flare" right above that black plastic bottom trip piece. I swear these guys do not test drive these vehicles on gravel roads......

So I was wondering if any of these aftermarket outfits had any sort of trim covers that you can put over that area to protect that spot.....

Thanks

Howdy - just wanted to mention that I am not having this issue - although I live at the end of 4 miles of dirt/gravel road and have on a couple of occasions taken it at about 45 mph... If you're losing a lot of paint, you might want to have it looked at.

I had the same thing happen on my '02 KJ when I bought it(mines a Limited that had painted flares, all black when stock).I cured that problem by spraying Mortons spray-on bedliner on the lower 1/3rd of my KJ,the fender flares, and F/R bumbers(sprayed with 124 miles on the odometer).

rock chips are rock chips not much you can do no matter who makes it, paint will chip when hit with a rock. :x

Either have to keep it off gravel roads or do like tjkj did and throw the bed liner to it.

I grew up on gravel roads so know what you mean, makes you mad but.....
