I was thinking on the front of suspension to get some more out of it, could you jack the jeep up, disconnect the upper ball joint and sway bar. could you put a spring compressor on the coil tighten it down and i guess the rubber spacer that the coil is sitting on. you could move it up and slide a piece of rubber underneath it. The rubber that i would use is 3/8's thick. (material for a weight room floor). very durable. Cut the rubber in the shape of the spacer with a hole in the middle, make a slice on one side of it so it can go over the strut. Then decompress the coil and put everything back it to place. Would this work. I just dont want to take the coil and strut off and out of the jeep. Probably want do it, but was just thinking.

You need to pull the whole strut assembly off to add a spacer in the coil/strut assembly, sorry no way around it.But hey since your only 2wd it should be a breeze to pull those struts/coils out.

Oh and by the way the cutting the spacer so you can slide it is is a very bad idea,it will slide it's way back out anyway after time.

one of those things that looks good on paper but no you would have to remove the strut to do anything Its not that hard to pull the struts out, takes longer to remove the Air cleaner and battery than anything else, better to do it right and with the right parts

just my 2 pennies
