The UPS woman told my dad that I have a big package, and she was afraid to take it out... :?
He wanted to ask her why she was peeking.

I guess it was handled quite roughly in shipping, and they beat the stuffing right out of it...literally. The gas tank skid wasnt in any packaging, and it had some damage, but the others were in a box, and packed with shredded office paper, and the box was everything but cut open at the tape. The paper was everywhere by the time I got home.

So, tomorrow I am going to put on a couple layers of primer, and go to sleep, then I am going to paint, and go back to work, then sunday I will do one more paint, and later on put them on. I will post pics then.

Okay, so I got the skids all painted up, and they are All, in some contact with the Jeep. (the gas tank skid is in the back seat.) all the rest are on properly, but the directions for the gas tank are in illustrations, and they say nothing about pulling the tank off the bottom of the KK. I don't know what else to do, I am running my tank down, then Im going to bring it to the shop for work on the lift.
:?

what color did you paint them? you shouldnt need to drop your tank down to install the gas tank skid, you just need to take off your hitch and then put the skid up there holding it in place with some jacks and then put the hitch up there and bolit it all on, it should go FRAME, SKID, HITCH

LOL, I take it you haven't seen the underside of the KK?

No Gas tank there. Its under the drivers side passenger seat, and runs lenghtwise to the vehicle.

Here is the color I painted them.
