I'm not sure if the IROK NDs size 245/75R16 are temporary or if they just haven't hit the market in full force yet. One thing to keep in mind, though, they are radials, so they'll never be up-to-snuff on the trail compared to any bias-ply tire, even though they are VERY aggressive (I'm sure they're a great all around tire except maybe in snow/ice). A sidenote: a 32x9.50=235/85R16 in most cases.

Super Swamper makes their bias LTBs in 31x11.50-15LT and 31x11.50-16LT, which are 31" by 10.9" and 31" by 10.3" respectively. Both of those would make great dedicated trails tires, and I'm probably going to try fitting something like these under my rig with a little extra spacer lift and some more trimming. Of course they would be part of a dedicated trail rim/tire set. SS also makes their bias TSL/SXs in 32x11.50-15LT which comes to be 31.5" by 10.1". That'd be another great candidate for the trail if you could fit them, they'd be easier to fit then the LTBs I bet since width would be the limiting factor with turning I feel, but the LTBs are much cheaper.

I am the one with the IROK's & they perform WICKED

they should be available towards the end of this year, I got mine from a guy on e-bay for $550 & FREE shipping , although I did have to hunt down a 5th tire for a spare

I've had no issues at all with these, I only use them for OFFROAD though & I've had these in 2-3ft of snow & didn't get stuck once, they clean themselves very well

they are loud at low speeds but on the highway it turns to a mello hum

this is a great all around tire as far as I'm consirned for what I've thrown at them, but I have a set of BFG's for my daily stuff to save a little bit of MPG

buy them you won't be disappointed

Oh I'm sure they're great in anything deep where you need self-cleaning. When I said they may not be good in snow/ice, I was more so meaning on-road snow and ice, especially packed snow. That's when there's no subsitute for a good winter tire or at least a decent A/T, and when an M/T would be your worst option.
