No pics, but a very simple install.
I basically followed Marty's primer from the Rock Lizard Fabricators site:
1. After all the measuring of the vehicle lifted and the rear axle articulated as far as it would go, I decided that I needed to install 3" worth of bumpstop. I don't actually need this much right now, but when I go to 245/75s I will, so I figured I would do it now.
2. I glued 6 hockey pucks together in 2 stacks of 3 with crazy glue gel.
3. I used a 1/2" drill bit and and drilled a hole through the center of each stack.
4. I removed the rear wheels, disconnected the lower rear shock mounts and jacked up each side of the axle until I could get the springs out (my vehicle already has the rear sway-bar removed so it is easier to do this).
5. I used an angle drill and drilled a 3/8" hole in the center of each spring perch. NOTE: use a good bit and plenty of oil.
6. Took a 1" auger and recessed one end of each stack of hockey pucks 1/2" deep so that the bolt head and washer would be below the top of each stack.
7. Tilted the axle again and placed the stack inside the spring before putting it back into place and secured the stack to the spring perch with a 3/8" - 24 x 3.5" bolt with a 1" flat washer at the top and a split washer and nut under the spring perch. NOTE: you might be better with a 3.75" or 4" bolt here depending on how far you recess the bolt head and top washer.
8. Did the other side and the reattached the lower shock mounts (85 ft-lbs. torque) and put the wheels back on.
Oh, and I prefer Peter Pan Creamy.
