those tires are also directional..which means getting a spare would be hard unless you got 2 (one for either side). plus you couldnt fully rotate your tires since you could only rotate front to rear.. and the spare in on one side. we have MT MTZ's on our rubicon and they have been nothing but great.

heres a pretty good picture of the tires.,.

i think someone else might be running them here.. maybe an aussie.. i believe his KJ is black with yellow letters and a great snorkel!

I've been thinking about this. Why not build a Poison Spyder style TJ front bumper with a high-mount winch bucket. Get rid of the bumper completely along with the blinkers and just have the flairs stop where they do....

And how would we mount said TJ/YJ bumper? No frame rails

Plus, the front blinkers are pretty much held in by the bumper fascia and without it you'd have to at least make something to keep them in there.

I'm not saying an exact TJ bumper. Just something similar. I've not torn off my front bumper cover so I can't say for sure how I'd do it but, if there are other bumpers being made surely one could build a simple small bumper with a good approach angle and a winch basket. As for the front blinkers I'd ditch them and get something smaller and integrate it into the fenders or something. Just talking out loud..

I don't want to get too off topic on this thread but, something like this bumper and the winch would sit more on top of it with an a-bar. The sides would get lopped off and turned down to not points but blunt ends with a taper. All the bumper out there for the KJ's are too bulky IMOP. Coming from the Rover world I'm used to stuff like the photo below.

about 9k, they are holding up great. no problems yet. Only concern with them is them being directional, but I kept my MT/R so my spare is non-directional.

I'm fairly certain i will be purchasing another set in the future.

i think im gonna keep the ones i have now, the TSL's, but i need to get something a little less aggressive for the street. i find myself doing a lot more street driving now with the new jobby job. maybe like a BFG AT, or the MT ATZ's.
