Hey fulltimer, is that a real magazine cover? Or is it photochopped? Still very cool either way.

And Scarlet, That is the coolest. That is something I have always wanted to do, someday I will.

Thanks for sharing!

ok here's that roof rack setup u asked about... basically they come in sets of two...i bought 3. I switched the existing roof rails so that they're turned 90deg so they run laterally. btw they rails are different sizes so measurements were taken so that the pole racks would line up properly. then i just drilled each of them into place. i have the bungees tucked under the pvc piping in my pic because they're less taunt this way when their not in use however they fit perfectly over the reels and pole..and the long part of the poles sit snugly in the padding as well so there's no bouncing, rattles or tapping. Now keep in mind I'm using surf poles and medium action rods so they're quite a bit larger than the usual freshwater ones but it says these racks are for any size fishing pole so I assume it would work just as well for those...

Sorry to say it is a photochopped. It started out with just the KJ on the empty beach.

What beach is that? All I have around me is Breezy Point and that's closed for most of the summer b/c of the nesting terns. After that it's Montauk and that's far.

You don't have to go all the way to Montauk. Robert moses beaches has vehicle access.
