Off roading this past weekend (pics fixed)

On sunday i went wheeling with a group of new people with wranglers and grand cherokees. it was alot of fun and they were very happy to see a liberty out on the trails instead of in parking lots and one grand cherokee owner loved the wave. i flexed it pretty hard and even with the wheels sticking out a bit further, they still stuffed and flexed pretty well with a lot of rubbing. it popped out of 4hi and lo while going into reverse again, but only once so ill let jeep know tomorrow when i go to get the 15,000 mile service interval.

ill have to repost it when i get to the dorms... i tried doing it from work but i guess that dosent work, huh? o well it was worht a shot to save time :lol:

Where did you go? I found an off road group on "Denver Meetup". They are more into stock 4x4's but won't turn away others.

i went to illinois gulch... its close to rampart range. it was quite fun its mostly gravel and loose sand but once again i rebelled and didnt air down and did just great. after all was said and done... 22.61MPG for the trip with the a/c mostly on

because i didnt do anything, i dont have sliders and i wanted to execute SOME caution with the tires sticking out further... didnt want to bust up a flare or a inner thingy. plus i pay a lot of money per month for this thing so im not beating up on it like a mad man. just took it easy and enjoyed myself, my jeep and my camera!

everytime i have the urge to try it i just think about the cost of replacement components... then think about the balance of my savings account... and it all works itself out

its very nice... its a '98 5.9L Limited. im not sure of all the mods he has but inside there are alot of switches so i assume lockers at least. its a really cool suv. on the way to the trail head it overheated... the electric fan went out but he had a spare and all was good
