I got a 02 liberty limited and at the back under the jeep logo, there is no 4x4 emblem?!? Is this standard for the year, or is mine missing? Either way, where can I get one!!

Look on the side rear area near the windows. They did not put the 4x4 emblem on the rear door for `'02's, I do believe.

I would check Ebay. I am sure it is a lot cheaper there. Mine is the raised silver lettering just like the word Jeep and 3.7L on the back.

That is exactly what I am looking for. Time to start shopping around I suppose. I might even be able to get some off a junkyard if I look hard enough :)

No 4x4 on the rear doors for 02's only on the sides under the rear windows, changed with 02 Limited and 03 and up. i would leave it the way it is. Not too many out there.

I wonder if it is one of those things that just depending on the guy putting on the badge. I only have the 1-4x4 badge on the tailgate. Mine is the 2002 Limited. *shrug*

My limited has them on the quarter-panels also, but mine is also pre-lowered.
I wonder if DC changed them at the lowering date.

They changed them around the same time. 9.9 times out of 10 though, if you see a Liberty with the 4x4 badge on the back, it's lowered. BUT there are a few... and I do mean FEW (like maybe in the hundreds) '02, PRE-Lowered Libertys running around with the 4x4 badge on the back.

That is interesting. I know mine is pre-lowered by the manufacture date and it is just on the back.

I don't have a 4x4 emblem at all. It's a Jeep and that word is enough to know it's a 4x4.
I Europe we don't have the 2wd option. A Jeep is allways 4x4.
