Some mud near the city

Rainning season already started here in Mexico, some friends and I decided to get mud inside the city
There's a place where houses will be constructed but not yet

At the entrance

Here is the place, if you try to walk there the mud will be at your knees!

Late

I felt in a hole, here I was trying to remove some of the mud, the steering was a little bit hard!

This is what I got

This is the new and improved rustic coating!!!! :lol:

Under the KJ

It took 6 hrs to remove all the mud from the suspension and the protective plates... :evil:

The "barro rojo" is very sticky!!

crap man that looks more like clay than mud, glad your cleaning it off and not me. However, I bet you had a lot of fun playing in that stuff.

Ahh, reminds me of home (Georgia red clay) and of my primary deterrent from going wheeling just after it rains... :wink:

Actually, it DOES look an awful lot like our Georgia Red Clay and the coverage looks a lot like what me and a buddy with his '94 KJ ran into recently up near Fort Mountain State Park.

Red clay like this is the reason that the NFS closes Beasley Knob in the North Georgia Mountains to all rigs if it has rained the night before.

darn, wheeling in Mexico looks fun!!! Now, wouldn't that be a cool road trip!!!! South of the Border!!!
