Comparision: Liberty KK vs. Grand Cherokee WJ

I owned a 99 XJ for 9 years and loved that truck (just ask my wife!) and beat the snot out of it off-road. I recently traded it in (193,000 miles) and purchased an 08 KK. The XJ was a tin can compared to the KK: the KK is a much smoother ride and has a much nicer interior. I like the 3.7: it is very quiet and smooth. Yes, the 4.0 had more low end torque, but it was also noisy and polluted more. I also like having all the new safety features on the KK since I take my wife and two boys out camping and off-roading. I love the sky-slider on my KK: my first rag-top and my kids love it too. Overall, the KK is a great family vehicle, both on and off-road. I would buy a new XJ if they still made them, but they don't, so no point crying about it!

I would go with the XJ...............................like I have said in previous posts there is no substituting a SFA for an IFS. Don't get me wrong I love my KJ, but hey it would be nice if they at least offered an SFA as an option.
