htkrph, Not sure if you know or not, but you can purchase, and even special order tires and rims from the NEX. Tax free, and no shipping charges, plus they'll price match any printed ad (magazine ads, quadratec, or 4wheelparts catalgos too).

so i went there today and they had the FS Destination AT on special for 116.99, the guy was really nice and stuff. He was trying to sell me the Silent Armors for i think it was 140 or something like that. He said that they dont match prices no more but I don't believe him so monday morning when i go back to morning shift i'm going to another NEX Auto Shop to see what someone else says. The installation price and stuff was fair and it came with good perks. He said if i buy them one day I could have the next day. So that got me really excited. Dont know i'm gonna wait till next pay check. i have to pay all my bills and stuff and im getting the rene light bar.

On that list I'd take the BFG AT/KO's (great tire!) then the Revo's, Destination's. Not real impressed with the original Duelers or SA's, just my opinion.

** Edit - If they don't wanna price match, go over to the main exchange and speak with the General Manager, and show him the ad, and ask him if the NEX still supports their sailors, or should you go out in town and get the better deal. I had something priced matched at the North Island store just 2 months ago, something may have changed but... I doubt it. **

yeah thats what i'm gonna do, cause i know they price match. i just need to find a printer so i can show him the online ads and find some local ads too. i know the AT/KO's are badass! lol and i will get my money's worth but dosen't almost everybody run AT/KO at least i see them a lot. i was going with the destinations. I wasent very sure about the SA i read somewhere they had kevlar or something making them really heavy. dont know ...

Yes, there is a difference to actual size among the tire companies, but the largest you can go with no lift is a 245/70/16.

I just got the Silent Armors installed on mine they are a little pricey but 50K mile warranty and the best all around tire that goodyear sells. Tire rack also rated them number 3 in their class. They Look fairly mean too

They work well in the rain waiting for snow, and they are pretty quiet (kind of a downer)[/img]
