For those who have been wondering about David Rush...I got this email from his sister today.

Dear Friends of David,

David passed away at the end of May. It was quite a shock, but he had been in extreme pain with his back problems. He was unable to get out of bed for days at a time. While we do not have the coroner's report yet, it appears that he had a heart attack. My mother and I watched as his ashes were scattered, by plane, over Red Rocks, an area he was fond of.

Since David did not have an address book, I am sending this to those who were listed on an email I received. If you know of others who would miss David, I would appreciate your letting them know. Thanks you.

Nikki Tinsley
(David's sister)

Best wishes to his family and I will personally miss David Rush.

My deepest condolences to the family. I didn't know Rush except for on here but I loved reading his off topic post. He aways made me laugh!

Just getting ready to post this. David sent me at least ten things/ jokes/news items etc. a day and a personal email at least every other day, he is missed for sure each and everyday !!! :(

I hope that God gives him a special place where pain is felt no more. David had suffered enough in recent months.

Tom

I just got this email as well today. I'm glad I had the opportunity to meet him... He will be dearly missed.

He kept a smile on all of our faces while dealing with debilitating pain. He certainly was a special guy.

May he rest in peace, without pain, and off-road a new KJ of his choice wherever he goes.

That is too bad. I am sad.

I didn't know him except through his posts, and I will miss both him and his posts.

I did not know that he had medical problems that caused him so much pain. He sounded like a very special person to be able to make others laugh even though he was going through so much. My condolences to his family and may he rest in peace.

I hope his family see's that he will be missed by so many that they did not even really know about, and take comfort it that, He touched so many, many people in such a positive way. What better testimony of a good life lived.
