I will miss Dave, he was always so supportive of those in both civilian and military service.

A Vietnam Combat Vet if I remember correctly.

Wow . . . been away from the forum for a few days now and was hoping for the best when I read through the MIA thread. Looking back through his posts, it is amazing that he was dealing with such debilitating pain. His posts are so up beat and humorous. He was obviously a very special person. It saddens me that he is gone, but it is comforting to know that his pain and suffering has been removed forever.

God Bless Rush, May you always have warm days and pleasant nights on your new trail.

Could we get decals made up with his screen name? We can ride on the East Coast Safari with it on. Something small with his avitar on it maybe? I would be willing to pay the cost and I am sure others would as well.

Wow RIP......................................Man this one has sent chills up and down my spine. I hate to hear of any wheelers passing, but this one is different.

If you do that, I can think of 2 or 3 others that should be included on them, as well.

After talking to Rush a few times, I can tell you that the song is very appropriate. He was a man of heartfelt words. May God Bless his soul.

I just tapped into my inbox for the first time in forever, and wouldn't you know I had some pm's from Rush. He had offered to show me around once I moved to CO and introduce me to his mechanic who did all the work on his Jeep.

Too bad I won't be able to take him up on the offer.
