Hey Troy; why did you select those tires? None of my personal heroes roll them so I don't have a good reference. Please explain if you will: this way we can learn as a community.


I don't know anyone on here that would consider all the angles before putting something on his Jeep or making a recommendation to another.

Regardless of what anyone says about this tire debate, I said what I have said from my personal experience with these tires. Not reviews off the net or anything like that. I have talked to people with them on their rigs or run them myself. If Troy wants to run them it honestly doesn't bother me that he does, but I will never let them come near my rig. End of story, off my soapbox.

Incubismike, why do you say Maxxis are expensive? Not all of their models are crazy in cost. I just got the Bighorns. A solid off-roading tire that cost about $50-70 per tire less than MTR's. Now their bigger crazy off-roading tires, yes, those are expensive.

Yes, I was referring to their top of the the line creepy crawler tires. Those are the only Maxxis tires I really like. The other aren't bad I just like the creepy crawlers.
