If you are planning on mounting your antenna on the rear... 18Ft of Coax Cable is what I used... It was just enough to get to my CB (mounted by shifter), and still hide all of the wire...
If you are set on getting a Firestick, I would suggest the FIREFLY, it's 40% lighter than the Firestick II

Just a thought

Walcott CB has everything you need at a great price...

Antenna: http://www.walcottcb.com/firestik-firef ... p-896.html

18ft. coax cable: http://www.walcottcb.com/firestik-k48r1 ... p-199.html

Thought about where you are going to mount the antenna?

Wlacott!!!!!

And what ever you do DO NOT TRIM THE CABLE!

Run all 18 feet any around the KJ just don't loop it all together and zip tie it. Running ia all around and not back onit'self makes it tune much easier.

Not on a rig the size of a KJ.

Stick to one antenna, center of the roof if you can but always above the roof plane, and get it tuned as best as u can.

Well I got my CB setup at xmas and I FINALLY installed it and tuned the swr. In case anyone else is looking to install one here's what I did: It's a 3.5ft whip mag-mount antenna and I ran the 18ft of coax uder the center console, under the driver's seat into the weatherstripping and around the passenger door out the top..there's a nice notch that it exits out of there, and onto the roof..18ft of cable was the perfect amount with about 6 inches or so to spare. easy breezy install..should have made this one of the first mods 8)

I ran mine through the back door grommet and cam out about half way across the back door. It comes ou from underneath the plastic trim on the inside and goes under the door, then up to the spare tire carrier. My antannae mount is run through the center of my spare tire rim.
