Are any of you familiar with the Rovers North Defender 90 sliders? Incorperated in the slider are two holes that receive a hilift adapter which allows you to jack up the vehicle for tire change. Do you think that All Js sliders (three mounting points) are strong enough for this application?

http://www.rebel4x4.co.uk/steps.htm There is a pic of the "holes" in the sliders on a green D-90.

I have had both of my KJ's lifted by the Boulderbars on numerous occasions. Just be real careful working on the Jeep when not supported by jack stands regardless of how you get it lifted up in the air. At the very least, set a spare tire under the Jeep so it can't fall all the way down.

I'd say yes. Not 100% positive but mys guess would be yes. I have the stock Mopar rock rails and I have used them quite a few times with a hi lift jack to lift my KJ to remove tires. The aftermarket ones are stronger than mine so they would work even better. I don't know about cutting holes in the slider though. Stuff would get in there and rust them out I would think. But it would be a good way to keep the jack from sliding out from under the vehicle.

They cut the thru holes and weld in a 1/4" wall sleeve so the slider does not fill with mud/water etc.
