I printed out some copies of the map from the Muddy Buddys website for those who go.

No, I believe Moose was offering to bring Matt when he said he was selling the KJ and forgot he also has a TJ.

Modular is correct, except that I have to pick up the wife at the airport at 7, so I'm wotking the numbers and convincing myself that 9-3 is enough wheeling to justify the run down to HnH and still get home in time...

At one point he said "maybe" and he asked last week if I was still planning on going but that was it. I believe between being very busy with school and the Safari so close that may have something to do with it.

I'll be doing a down and back in one day trip. With this being an hour closer than the Badlands it makes the trip much easier to do in one day. Can't wait to see you all there.

Has any time and meeting place been set for this?

That's right. I haven't forgotten about the trip and still may like to go.

We could to a morning meeting at Ihop on Kemper like we did last time... I'm pretty sure everyone knows where that is from the Haspin run. I want to get going early and I'm pretty familiar with the drive to Owenton, which is close and takes about an hour and 45 minutes depending on speed. So if we met at seven we could expect to get there about an hour after the park opens at 8. I cant convince myself I'll be able to get up any earlier than that...

Another side note... my xj has trouble maintaining more than 60 consistently on the hwy. I know some of the kj's can exceed that, but 4.56's aren't built for hwy speeds. Do we want to stick together on the way down or just get there as we can?

NAH, it's just that KJs are superior in every way!!!!

Seriously, though, I'm not a huge fan of doing a lot of high speed runs, especially since I rotated my tires this past time and my nasty bent wheel is on my left front. I'll be hanging back a bit if everybody else is highballin.

Kyle, if you want to park your KJ and ride with me, that's fine because I'd rather not see you burn that much gas if you're not gonna be able to do much.

Hopefully my $62.20 shipped new hub assembly gets here tomorrow or Thursday. I REALLY don't wanna hear all that noise on the way down either :lol:

Neiter HnH or Haspin is difficult... if it's dry. We've had two good dry weeks, as long as it doesn't rain much on Friday (30%) or Saturday (30%), those tires should be fine. IF they get rain, it wont matter what you've got...
