No doubt that a craddle drop can be done, in all honesty, I run a Frnki lift on mine with a few mods, if I wanted the KJ higher I would save up and do an SFA and do it right. As far as the bumper you can have any good steel fabricator make one for you, but by the time you gret done you could have bought one already made. Check out http://www.rocklizardfabrications.com/.

One more thing on the bumper if you look at the Liberator bumper long enough it looks like an ARB upside down. Just a thought!

The JBA 6" involves a cradle drop I believe. Maybe you can just get the cradle drop hardware from Jeepinby Al who sells the 6" kit.

There are alot of headaches in doing a cradle drop in a KJ.If you have HD cooling then you need to modify(cut) the bottom of the fan shroud or the mechanical fan will hit the fan shroud since your dropping the engine but not the radiator, the this totally depeats the effect of the HD cooling.Depending on how far you drop the cradle you will run into the raiator hoses, some wiring,P/S hoses and such are now to short. Then you have the problem with driveline angles since when you drop the cradle you raise the back of the tranny/t-case throughing off the u-joint angles unless you also drop the tranny/t-case crossmember the same amount as the cradle drop.

Not really worth all the headache for gaining nothing.

There are way too many headaches involved in replicating the Liberator. Cradle drop being one of the biggest. Not worth the effort but man it is sweet.

All the make sense, am I wrong about the JBA 6"? Does he not use a cradle type drop?
