Did he cut these front fender flares or are they from a later model? With my new 265/70-16 i'm getting major rubbbing on the front flares and fog light door plastic area when turning. I'm running spidertrax spacers which i'm sure is causing part of this but i think they'd rub anyway. Spacers are not coming off. My OME hd springs should be here monday but i don't think the extra 1" of clearance i will gain will eliminate the rubbing. I need to mod my flares like this pic. Do I cut them or get later model ones?

You get much more than 1" of lift from the OME HD's. I'm guessing your Rusty's spring are sagging. That is because Rusty's springs are only 310 lbs/in spring rate and OME HD have 400 lbs/in spring rate.

Yes my rusty's springs sagged. I'm hoping the ome hd's give me a additional 1" over what i currently have with my rusty's lift.

i did a thread awhile back on cuting to clear 265/75/16 w/ no rub i'll look for it
found it: wasent the greatest post but acouple of ideas also if you want to keep the bumper intact is to put small washers between the tabs and your fog lightsto move the back of the fog light up more...the front pinch needs to be knocked down or cut then welded flat...paint your washer box black so you can't see it outside the wheel well...were the fender comes back in to the jeep...good idea to cut that aswell...

I would never cut the pinch weld, very bad idea! You can get away with cutting the plastic cover it up if you still have you fender well liners in. Don't compromise the unibody strength and pound them in direction of the engine and then flat in the direction of the door.

Actually you said "weld it flat", which didn't make any sense to me. So people see the part that does make sense, "cut it", and they think they can chop the KJ to pieces no problem. I just didn't want to have to post on a "unibody failure" thread
