So I got the MOAB with 245/75/16 on and they rub a little. I thought it would be at full lock like most people say but Iam not in their boat. Mine rubs about half way through and then when I go full lock it does not rub anymore. I can kinda see where it is rubbing on the inner fender liner. I was wondering if anyone has some pics of their trimming job so I can get some ideas on where to start and to get the smoothest look with out taking too much out. I also heard some people Heat them up and mold them, any ideas on how this works. And I heard tons of info about the pinch weld? Where is this loacted and some pictures of that also. The back rubs only when the wheel is stuffed off roading. Can I get rid of that with bump stops?

give the tire time to wear out and you will be fine.....LOL

After I lifted and put on my moabs with 245/17's I got slight rubbing on the fog light access doors. That was 20 K miles ago, Now it is all taken care of between the tires starting to wear down and the tire melting away at my fog doors....
an my pinch welds were beaten down flat before I put on the new rims and tires

you will see EXACTLY where they rub just by the wheelwell being clean there where the tires rubbed it. just compared to the normal road grime/dirt in the wheelwell

I didn't want to remove my fender liners at first either. Trust me, just take them out. Then it's easy to see the pinch seam that everyone talks about and you won't have to worry about finding a heat gun to mold the plastic. And it really doesn't look bad without them, at all.

Pinch seam is behind the front tires.

As for trimming, that depends on how crazy you want to get.

I can show you exactly how I did mine when I am down there but it is pretty much exactly like some of the ones in the link Dje Ryu posted. In the front though I angled my cut up instead of straight across. I like it better and looks more natural of a shape for the bumper/fender.
