Will the ECTED for an XJ Dana 30 fit our D30a?

I think so
IIRC the ARB and TT for the Dana 30 fit in the 30A so I see no reason why the ECTED will not
Now keep in mind that just like with an ARB you will need to drill a hole in the housing

Thought it would also, but I haven't heard of anyone running one. Drilling a hole doesn't bother me, darn near the same price a DTT, but I like that it goes from a limited slip to full locker with a push of the button.

I thought the D30a required a different ARB and TT than the standard D30?

The ARB for the D30a is the RD100, the same as for the Cherokee with the same gear ratios.

Should be the same as the standard 30. Both are 27 splines. Same ring size. The only difference is the pinion is longer, which should have any effect on the carrier/locker.

Make sure you add friction modifier to the gear oil,it is a clutch based LSD.Oh and plan on rebuilding the LSD part, replacing the clutches, about every 20,000miles.

Some poeple like them, others have stated they are the worst thing they ever spent money on.

No - but the TrueTrac is great in the front - won't lock but really close and no clutches.
