Dang those are very expensive re-treads,and only a 45,000 mile tread wear.Re-treads can be very unsafe also.

Try treadwright for retreads, much cheaper. I guess they dont waste money on embeding diamonds.

although what did you have to do to the wheelwells for clearance???
I'm familiar with the work on the front - however it looks like most folks with 265's on the rear - backed down to a 7" rim to keep from hitting the rear fender - (although they normally try the 75's instead of 70's)

I don't know why their prices are high, I bought mine for about 125 a tire. Contact Rich@greendiamondtire.com

If you notice the load range D 265-75's are 164 a tire. And the tread depth on these are deeper than any other mud tire I've seen. Well other than a TSL Super Swamper LTB.

These ProComp MTs are pretty good and they let you know that they are aggressive by humming you a song every time you get on the freeway :wink:

oh and if you need good grip in the corner try this Dunlop 756 I have on my bike

Those TreadWright MTR's will be my next set of tires, I have their AT's on right now and have been very happy with them.

You use to be able to get the green diamonds on the treadwright tires as well though I guess they don't do that anymore. But even then they were only $10 more than w/o.

you can never go wrong with the TSL'S or LTB's. TRUST ME
