So, I'm perusing Summit for the Rancho front shocks for the KJ. I come across two interesting things:
First, is the "quick lift" shock? I'm assuming it's like the Monroe QuickStruts, which are preassembled, so you just bolt in and go...but taller. No pic, so we don't know what it looks like.

Second, is the Rancho 17505. Says it comes with a boot...Since when do KJ front shocks come with boots?
Then, we've got the good ol' standby RS5000 (PN 5764)
Since I'm going OME HDs in the front when I replace my front shocks, I don't see any reason to buy the "quick lift", but I hadn't seen it before, so I figured I'd ask about it.
EDIT
Just got off the phone w/Rancho. The guy said the QuickLift only raises the spring seat and reuses the factory coil. He also told me that they decide whether to make lift products for vehicles based on vehicle registrations, and have no plans to develop any longer front shocks for the KJ...do WHAAAAAAAT? I found that odd, but not gonna go into it (hey, where's the 10" long arm kit for the 94-97 Accord?) Anyway...I think I need more downtravel than an OEM-length front shock can provide, so I guess my only real choice is OME for the front shocks.
