That's the worst damage i've seen in 5 yrs. on a front housing. I got just a 2.5" x 4.5" chunk off the end with the crack along the side and chewed up the gears.

Were you using a collar by chance :?:

seriously, that was some pretty good damage. i only had one chunk come out of mine, but it did split on the top and bottom. But, you got the full all around chunk to come out! very nice

is the axle tube on the pass side pressed in?

Troy , thanks for the tips, we did get the old one out and the new one in without having to remove the LCA's. Was a bit fiddly, but, "Do-able"

Yep when we did jerbachers we didn't have to drop the lower control arms either, just takes a little wiggle room, and of course half a day!
