Is there any way to reprogram the rear cargo door and window to open with the key in the ignition? Why should I have to shut down the engine and remove the key just to open the cargo door for a couple of seconds?

mine has always been that as long as it is in park I can open the glass or door by just hitting the button to unlock them, not sure if others are set up the same way or maybe different

Yeah, put it in park and you should be able to open it. Assuming you have an auto tranny, that is. Of course, putting it in park is a good idea whenever you're leaving the vehicle while the engine is running. :)

you gotta unlock it, the doors automatically lock after 15mph, so when you put it in park, you gotta hit unlock when you get out

Mine you can set up that way but I choose to have it lock as soon as you take off, then I know it is for sure
As far as it locking when you turn the wiper on ...not sure, took mine off at 100 miles and tossed it, hate those things

Is there a setting to make it lock at 15mph with the other doors? That would be nice on the trail when you just wanna hop out and grab something from the cooler real quick.

I'm pretty sure it'll open in neutral too once you hit the button on the remote. I'll double check L8r

Its a function with the Limiteds for sure on the overhead consule you can set many items such as this. Key will unlock drivers door only with one click, take a second to open the rest etc etc. How long the lights stay on after you turn the engine off many things......................

Consult the owner's manual, and you can set all that stuff without the EVIC, too.

You use your remote fob to set it.

If you don't have the fob, sorry:)

I have a fob, no evic. I'll look through my manual and try it tomorrow but, about half of the fob and ignition codes in it don't seem to work, anyway. Someone mentioned they found an alternate list of codes for 05-6, once but I can't remember much about that post. might've been about disabling the seat belt chime or something to that effect.
