After having the TSB performed on my KK yesterday, I did a lot of driving today in 97 degree weather. First I left home, which is elevation 150 feet and went up to one of our transmitter sites at 4,400 feet. I was running the A/C on 2 most of the time, even in the hills and mountains.

Then we went on a 250 mile trip up and down the San Joaquin Valley. The afternoon temps were 97 to 98 degrees according the the thermometer on the dash. I kept having to turn the AC down. If I put it on fan speed 3, it was too cold. We did most of the trip on fan speed 2.

Whatever the TSB did, that thing is blowing some very cold air now.

I printed out the TSB that Digger posted, took it to the local Jeep dealer and showed it to the service manager. He looked at it, checked the build date on my KK, and scheduled it to be done.

Did mine today, works great. Yes, the TSB was free. However, I asked them to enable the "tilt mirrors in reverse" feature, and they wanted to charge me $50. The tech went ahead and did it for me anyway's without charging.

I am due for my first oil change. I wonder what they would charge for me to get the skids installed. Anyone have any idea (Labor cost, not part cost)?

Hate to break it to you but it's one or the other on these above items. Front tow hooks can't fit with the westin bar in.
