Would we be more loved by other Jeepers if we had these on our hoods?

Don't think that will do the trick..................I am just used to not being accepted from my days of wheeling a WJ. At the time all I ever heard is "you can't do that in that Jeep"........I still hear it about the Libby as well.

where is that on the site? I can't find it. Did they have to replace body panes and the hood for that? If so it hardly makes it worth it if you ask me.

lol, I found that I was looking for the latches and everything so I skipped right over it.

This image almost looked like a liberty so I was thinking it was put on one. Plus there filing system says KJ on the image. That was confusing!

It really bugs me that we are still trying to justify ourselves for driving a KJ  People dont understand a Jeep is a Jeep, and not all will have the same capability unless modified.Amazzzzzzing!!!!!!

Perhaps if you all would quit worrying about being accepted YOU would be accepted.

In my area, KJs are Jeeps. I haven't heard a single negative remark since moving back to Ohio about wheeling a KJ, unless it was somebody with a pavement pounder TJ.

Sure, there may be jokes...but I make those too about other 4x4s (and XJs if you haven't noticed), and it's all in good fun.

...talk about a bullseye!

Honestly, I could give a rats stupid what someone drives, rides. It's what you DO with what ya got that counts. Plus its more fun watching a less built or capable vehicle take on a tough trail....and make it.

A Jeeps a Jeep in my book. Heck, most of the Jeeps I see on the streets here in my area are driven by women, be it a Grand, Wrangler, Liberty, Compass, etc.

Seriously, guys...

After 6 years, the KJ is accepted.

It's just the attitudes of specific owners. Just like people will crap talk the guy in the TJ on the 6" lift and 35s that's afraid to get his junk dirty, they'll crap talk the mall crawler KJ with the spacer lift that doesn't have a lick of trail rash.

Wheel what you got. I don't care if you wheel a Pacifica, posers are quickly weeded out by the REAL wheelers. If you're not accepted, you're not wheelin your junk.

Now get it out there, put it in 4lo, and get 'er dirty. That's the best way to get "accepted" if you're that terribly worried about what other people think. Otherwise, keep poundin the pavement.

The guy with a stock, low-mile '02 KJ on stock rubber with zero in modifications on stock rubber will be more respected if he wheels it than the guy with the $1000 worth of wheels, $2000+ in suspension work, $2000 in "wheeling accessories" (bumper, useless-arse roof rack and lights and whatever) on his '07

Unfortunately, we aren't well accepted by the after-market manufacturers. We have some decent lifts covered, but some more support in other areas would be nice.
