It is a bummer the KJ and KK lifts from RK are said to be junk because like someone said earlier, their top of the line TJ kits are really really nice.

Yeah. The guys building them in the shop do great work, it's the office that needs an stupid whoopin'! When I called the tech line about my lift and about what I had read he said "most of that garbage you read on the internet needs flushed down the toilet". Great customer service.

The KK has a bright future. I hope the aftermarket crowd embraces it's potential.

I posted this on another thread, but I looked into this at our local place http://www.ok4wd.com.

They told me they have done about 20 of these, and had 19 come back with all sorts of problems. Blown struts, CV problems, etc. I said, "So I guess you wouldn't recommend it?" He said, "Trade it in and get a KJ."

He was joking . . . not funny though. I am waiting to hear more, or maybe some other stuff will be upcoming?

I wonder what the allowable unit strength of the steel is and the slenderness ratio. Seems like the blown struts are too thin and buckle. The CV problems not sure my understanding from the JBA LIft it is recommended highly! to cut the cv but 3/8" so I am guessing that nothing hits and breaks at full extension! This is required with any lift over 3" so maybe the rockcrawler only needs some of JBA's already cutdown CV or have it done on your stock ones. Other options might be helpful to piece in from JBA thus keeping the price down.

Does anyone have this lift? Speak up bad or good news and if you have really taken it offroad!

:?: KKommando where did you get your OME info? I spoke with Charles at OldManEmu.com, located in TX, and he told me that OME Australia received the KK and that we should see something from them soon. Though he didn't have an exact date he did seem confident that there would be something comming. My info is dated the first week of September.

kkommando, your posts never make any sense, and your info that you post is useless at the best of times.

Even if OME doesn't come out with a specific lift for the KK, I believe you could use their springs, you'll just need to figure out what size coil and the spring rate needed. I wouldn't be surprised if you could use the med. duty coils for the KJ. Or coils for another vehicle of similar stock height and weight. Just a thought.

the front is easy, as it is nearly identical to the kj, but the size of the rear coils are different on the kk
