Has anyone ever considered ( or tried) putting newer ( 04 or better ) fender flares on an 02 with the ARB Bull rather than cutting down the OE's? Does anyone know if the newer ones fit?

first I think you mean '05 and newer, they should fit but why pay the extra money for them when you can cut the OEM ones, whats wrong with cutting them?? I dont know if the '05 + would work

not hard to cut them at all and if you are putting an ARB on you will never want to take it off so whats the point?

Thanks to you both for the responses -

JSC, Yes - 05 and newer, you're correct

Tommud - Understood, good point. Just to let you know, I have a limited with painted flares. I was thinking of line-xing the rocker panels, and it might look better if I were to find some flat black flares from a sport model. If I were to stay with the originals can you recommend the best way to cut? I am thinking of using a cut off wheel on my air tool. I'm concerned it might come out too jagged. From your experience what did you use?

the cut off wheel from the air tool would work just fine, I used a hack saw when I did mine, and if your wanting to line-x them then leave the Limited flares bc they are already painted it will be easier to spray them, and all of the flares will cut just as easy as the next bc they are all the same just some are paintewd and some are black faded plastic
