Just my 2 pennies here but I really do not see the reason for a drain plug.
For me one it may get hit and broken,
it may get stripped out,
PLUS I really want to see what all is going on in there each time I change it out.
I hate it that I can not get into the front diff easier!
Not that hard to take off, and not as messy as changing the oil so no real benefit....well as I see it
t cool.

When you run a good oil like Amsoil, and you have a magnetic dip stick and a magnetic drain plug, then there is no reason to pull the pan when you can pull the recessed plug. ARB does it. And everything that ARB does is just cool. 8) And it just makes sense to me, but what do I know, I’m just a school boy.

OK OK IF YOU HAVE a magnetic plug/dipstick etc like the ARB then yes I guess you can get by with it, but most that I have seen / used that have a drain plug do not go the extra mile that ARB does.

but I am anal and still like to look

Well if we're tossing pennies into the mix...

This is the only real valid point I've read here. Which for the record, may convince me to buy the cover in this thread. (Although I have a Poison Spyder Rock Ring and wonder do I really need a diff cover?) Anyway...

I had no problem doing this?

School boy or not, I find that comment interesting to say the least. More pennies here on my part... The only product they make that impresses me is the air locker. Then again, like all their products, they appear overpriced to me. Not to mention how ugly I think their bumper is. But to each their own I guess.

EDIT: Actually, regarding the look of their bumper, I don't like the bull bar, cut it off, and I would really like the bumper.

Not a problem getting into the front diff cover CrossBones, ??? yes you can do it but taking the mounting bracket off is a pain at times!

The only pain for me was preventing the mud in the front skid from falling onto my head.
