I ran my power wires out to the engine compartment - the positive is hooked up to the main power connection in the power distribution box and the negative is grounded on the firewall where some of the other engine items are grounded.

I did the Add a Fuse and wired it into the Fuse panel.

Jayme, if your positive wire is long enough you might want to move it to the connection at the power distribution box (black box right in front of the battery). You still have a good connection direct to the battery terminal but you get the wire connector away from the battery and the acid fumes that will eventually corrode it. If you need more info PM me.

I piggybacked into the wires for the power outlet in the dash (what used to be the lighter).

my coax to the antenna runs all the way down the driver side door plastic, just tucked it underneath & ran it all the way to the back

hey, i got my power wire ran to the fuse box with the "add a fuse" too, but i cant get the cb to even turn on, the inline cb fuse is good too, i tried different mini fuse positions too, but i cant get it get power! i know my ground is good!

the "add a fuse" thing i got, is for the mini fuses, it plugs into where a fuse would go, and the existing fuse plugs into that, with a small 4" red wire coming off of it, but i cant get it to work! grr

and in anybodys experience, i have my coax running by my power wire for my subwoofer, will that give my cb a lot of noise? the wires arent long enough to run on opposite sides of the jeep, so they are both on the drivers side, i hope it wont hurt it too much!
