so i have a 06 with the frankenlift, i was ok with the normal bushing noise as that is expected, but the other day i noticed a pop when going over a speed hump kinda fast, and again when i turned into my driveway. cannot reproduce the noise on a regular basis, jacked up the front and there was no play in the ball joints, made plenty of circles one with the steering wheel to the left and the other to the right (lock to lock) so i dont think it is the CV but i am not sure anyone have any advice or probable causes??

Probably just the sway bar. I shattered one of the grade 5 washers on the drivers side lower link. Made all kinds of noise before I found it, even though it was torqued tight.

I am not lifted, but had a pop noise because the front end was out of alignment?

A bad alignment won't cause a noise. a worn part will.

Get your front end checked out by a good shop...lots of the chain places will check your balljoints and tie rod ends for free. Just tell them you have a pop in the front end somewhere.

lots of chain places will make sure to tell you that some parts are worn out when in fact they are not as well
find a good honest small shop and let them check it over for you if you do not know how to check the ball joints etc

and Thunderbird is correct a bad alignment will not cause a popping sound, whoever told you that is full of something
