It deemed fixable, no subframe or frame damage, all cosmetic, $7900 to fix.

Still selling it since my insurance rates went way up, the car would cost $5000 to insure, so im going to sell it to get something cheaper

Came up with a new plan, after lookin at what cobalts go for with accidents on them, i decided i would lose way to much money on it. so instead im going to insure it and keep it, just not put collision on my insurance, since the car isnt worth much more anyways. That way, as long as i dont get in an accident thats my fault, then im fine and covered and dont take a huge loss on the car. Then once i get my use out of it, then i will get rid of it.

I bet 90% of us at LOST are under insured, me included. I think the $ amounts everyone is throwing around for their premiums very much depend on what your policy looks like. Two people can say "I drive a 40,000 dollar vehicle," but one drives a lexus and one drives a vw bug. Same thing with insurance...just how insured are you if there are fatalities? I know I need to examine my policy to upgrade, regardless of deductible.
Also, I guess most of us will be driving our libbys for even longer than we ever thought, as Mondays economy collapse has just made getting a new car loan VERY difficult... (O.K with me, I like to drive my vehicles 10-20 years and then some...)
