seems simple, but you guys have any suggestions for properly removing my radio antenna cover? I just planned on simply prying the cover off with a little elbow grease, but i wanted to double-check first to see if there are any 'tricks' to getting the antenna cover off easily/cleanly?

Did you get your cover off? Once you remove the antenna it should just slide off. Mine took a tap of a hammer to loosen it.

I would take off the antenna and check under the cover, perhaps you got some dirt in there or something. Then reinstall it. If it is still doing that take out antenna and check out the plastic piece, perhaps there is a crack in it so it will not bite on. Worst case you could always use some tape and build up the area for the cover. Just some ideas.
