Hi everyone,

I have a quick question about adding new componets to my already lifted crd. It currently has the daystar spacer lift installed with all the stock springs and shocks. I'm not looking to get additional height, just a better working suspension. If I installed the OME NS131 front struts and the Rancho RSX 17004 in the back would they cause problems with the spacer lift? Again i'm not looking for more height and as much as I would like to can't spring for the enitre frankenlift kit at this point. Any advice would be great. Thanks, Chris

yes it will make for a better ride, and they dont make you gain anymore height, are you still using your stock rear shocks??

You are still running the stock rear shocks? If so then yes you need longer rear shocks to be able to fully use the suspension, also I am sure the front OME NS131 would be a huge improvement over the stock junk! The Ranchos do great on mine in the rear,

I just ordered the rears from summit before I saw the ome from rustys and a local shop near me has the NS131 Struts on sale for 139 dollars with no shipping and since it's quick ride and summit usually gets me stuff in 2 days or less I should be all fixed up before the weekend is over. Thanks again for going easy on me

Just remember that those Ranchos are longer than the stock shocks and you need to add some length to your
bump stops or you will damage the shocks if you go of road ,over compress

Well you won't really damage the rear shocks if you do not install extended bumbstops,it really more about slamming the tires where they shouldn't be.This is true only for the Rancho 17004's or OME132L rear shocks on the KJ,now even longer rear shocks will be damaged if put on a KJ without proper bumbstops.Other vehicles you can damage the shocks from over compression.
