Hey everyone,
I am going to be installing my Frankenlift PremiumII and Al's UCA tomorrow and wanted to know if there are any pointers out there to make it easier?

Thanks

spray all the bolts tonight
have a good strong rachet strap handy to help pull in the bottom of the strut one person job but it helps
on the rear, stick the stock jack in between the frame and the caliper and that way you can R&R the rear springs real easy
tighten everything pretty much then let it down on the wheels to finish the sway bar links etc, drive about 100 miles and check everything again, get an alignment as soon as possible it will feel ok but will be toed in, plus everything else will be off

simple job

Als arms right side very simple, left side rear bolt is a pain
don't forget to cut out the pockets

AND REMEMBER THERES ALWAYS SOMEONE HERE AT THE LOST RANCH TO HELP YOU NIGHT AND DAY

Is it better to use a floor jack or a shop frame lift? I will be doing this on base and have access to both.

If you have access to a frame lift, your definitely better off using it than a floor jack.

Hey it is done took 6.5 hours 1 hour of that waiting to go get ratchetstraps that I forgot. Not to bad for first time doing a lift by myself, last time Clint did most(all) the work.

Need to get an alignment BAD, my tow in is awful.

Before with Rusty's:

With FrankenLift on:

Pic that I need an Alignment:

I have an appt tomorrow to get the alignment.

Overall was not too bad, had issues getting the tie rod ball joiints seperated, and then issues getting the forks lined up till the Ratchet straps showed up.

Wanted to take it out and play but did not feel comfortable doing it with the way the front tires are.

I can tell that I got 1 to 1.5 inches more lift with the lift.

Thanks for all the knowledge this site has given me.

looks great! but i have two points to make.

1. WHY arent you parked next to the black KJ...
2. you should cut the bottom of your bumper off it'll make the jeep look bigger :)

So what is your current ride height? Compared to the 2.5" spacer it looks like you almost doubled your height... Did you go with the OME HD coils? OME shocks and structs or rancho?

I haven't measured it, but about 1.5 to 2 higher, even more with the new tires I put on. I went with the Frankenlift Premium II.
