So I have what I think is a dragging break in the rear. It grinds when I drive and has torn the butt out somthing back there since my rim is now covered in rust (whatever metal ground + the recent rains). I got new rotors and pads today and will be installing them tomo. Any other ideas on things to look at while I'm in there? pistons? suggestions?

Adjust parking brake and lube, with high temp grease, the calipher slide pins.Oh and do a very good brake flush, blead at least 1qt of brake fluid from the R/R calipher then move to the rest of the caliphers and blead about 1/4qt through them. This help remove and junk in the brake lines and caliphers that can cause the pistons to get stuck.

Could be a caliper seizing up. Few people including me have had it happen. I had it happen around a month after I had flushed the brake fluid out.

If you find it really hard to get the caliper off the rotor when youre changing the pads then its fair game that its not releasing.

Pretty sure my master cylinder went dry, brakes have never been the same since but thats another story. :?
