Where were you lot?
The KJ's were not well represented at Jambo with only a few there out of a total of 270 jeeps of all shapes and sizes.
Was a great weekend all round, good tracks, great weather and I must tip my hat to the cherokee club for the organisation at such short notice,WELL DONE.
Had a ball on Stockton, what a blast, although the KJ didn't do so well on the sand dunes, we had a play on one particular dune trying to get up it and the KJ was the only one out of our group that couldn't make it no matter what we tried, high range first gear ran out of puff before the top and low range couldn't get the pace up needed to make it over the top, many trans over temp lights later we gave up on it. The J10 made it first go along with most of the others in TJ's, FSJ's, and to my surprise the grands and commanders made it. Pushed the front bumper back a bit hitting the bottom of the dune so hard trying desperatly to avoid embaresment. The only other one not to make it was a diesel J10 that had the same under powered problem.
I never realised just how under powered the 3.7 is untill I had play with it in the sand after playing in the J10 with the chev 350.
I got to admit it opened a few eyes up where it went on the mountain trip on Saturday,it was rated C/B.
Got to go now and get home, we are in a motel in Grafton ATM.
Will put up some pics one day when I work out how, I tried once before and it didn't work, or I can Email to someone to post up.

Sounds like it was fun, I've been reading the threads on AJOR about the Jambo. We now only have one car and can't afford to do a diff or anything else for that matter, not to mention I had work at home to do. Can't even see myself getting off road for some time . I'm looking forward to your pics.

Yeah I was there - camped between the Corecrew and Mich on the oval. Only did the light stuff as I don't have my lift in yet, but that trip to Wollombi across the Watagans was anything but scenic - old Bob (Central Coast Club) added in a couple of harder tracks cause Jeepgirl was complainig about the lack of mud, and now I'm still flushing mud out from the top of the tranny.
