I'm getting ready to order new wheels and I want TPMS sensors to put in them. I can't use my old ones because I'm keeping the stock wheels and P-rated tires for summer and long road trips. The new wheels will get a set of MT/R's for the winter 4x4 season.

Can anyone tell me if these are indeed the correct sensors for my 2007?

OEM Sensor 5602-9359AA

http://www.tpmssource.com/catalog/tpms/ ... berty.aspx

There seems to be a lot of conflicting info and part numbers floating around on the web.

Thanks

Well, I guess I'll be the guinea pig on this one. Went ahead and ordered them along with the maint. kit. I'll let you know after the wheels get here and I get the tires mounted.

sand, as long as they're for your year, they should be right.

I could pretty much tell you from memory if you listed the NAPA part number, but alas, you didn't

I also don't recommend, based on how far the sensor itself will stick past the rim, running these on aftermarket wheels. in the case of getting a flat, you could destroy the sensor.

We can thank Firestone for this gobbledygook, btw, because if it weren't for their over-rating their tires for Exploders, we wouldn't have had this BEAUTIFUL ( ) technology to protect us from ourselves.

That's weird. I tried NAPA's site first and couldn't find the part. Oh well.

I ordered them. They fit the Cragers just fine. But, they don't work.......... or, at least not yet.

I tried disconnecting the battery in hopes of resetting the computer.

I checked to make sure the tire shop hadn't put 80 psi in each tire. They hadn't; only 35.

My latest thought is that the computer may recognize the new sensors when I get rid of the last factory one in the spare and have all 5 sensors the same.

The guy at the tire shop thinks the dealer can reset the ECU if needed. First, I'll find out how much they want to do the job and compare the cost of swapping them with the stockers.

Although, from now until next summer, the tire pressure will get checked a lot since we'll be airing up and down frequently. I may just say, "the heck with it". It's not like there is a nasty chime or buzzer going off.

why didn't you just order them through a dealer? last I checked they were like $25 each.

I've had mixed luck with my local dealer. Discount prices on Mopar parts does not seem to be in their bag of tricks.

I hit several dealers on-line with the best price being in the same range as what I paid, usually a bit more.

Your computer needs to be relearned to accept THOSE sensors. Typically it wouldnt need relearned but you swapped sensors and the computer needs to to told what frequency those things are on.

Correct, youve got to have the computer reprogrammed for those sensors.

Other wise you could pull up beside of Chrysler vehicle and pick up their tire pressures. :)
