Are you confused as to why the KK lift says it has stainless brake lines?

Note that the kit isn't "out" yet, and they're still in the R&D stages...

ok E2, have a beer... so to start JBA AND ALL J'S are not the same. ALL J'S produces the frankenlift and will possibly have by the end of the year. Currently the only lift producers are JBA, daystar, rockkrawler, rusty's, and revtek...

JBA, http://jeepinbyal.com/prod-4_inch_lift_kit_for_3_7-596.aspx
This kit includes
# 4" front custom strut, assembly required
# Al's A-arms
# Stainless Steel brake lines
# 4" rear springs
# 4" hydro shocks
# Adjustable track bar
# Rear bump stops

This is a full component replacement and probably the best lift for your money

Rockkrawler http://www.rockkrawler.com/
This kit includes
(2) precision welded strut forks made from 1/4 thick laser cut steel,
(2) poly spring spacers, hardware

Worst for your money as they have no customer service and have jacked up some older jeeps

Daystar http://www.daystarweb.com/ItemForm.aspx?item=KC09106BK&Category=01deaa10-360d-4fef-a8eb-4d506454dfd2%20&ret_url=Categories2.aspx?Category=01deaa10-360d-4fef-a8eb-4d506454dfd2
kit includes 4 poly spacers, and new strut plates

Rusty's http://rustysoffroad.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=rustys&Product_Code=RK-BB50-KK&Category_Code=sus_kj_kit

Kit includes

2 strut spacer plates and 2 poly spacers

revtek http://www.revtek.com/jeepsusp.asp

kit includes

2 strut spacer plates and 2 poly spacers

con to this kit, puts extra strain on the strut by stretching it

Now will any lift, the rear shocks an all of the brake lines will have to be replaced and it would be advisable to replace the upper control arms with the jba ones. if the uppers are not changed, you will end up with premature upperball joint failure do to the extreme angle

As far as the JBA lift, it is still in the r&d stage and i will be the testing subject. I payed $1911.57 for the lift which includes shipping. RL already has a set up JBA upper arms for me

if you have any more questions just let me know

Hey guys,

I have a question...where does the Rockfather (currently not available for KK's, but apparently being produced) by Rocky Road play into this whole thing in terms of quality.

I guess I should ask, if the Rockfather is being produced how does it compare to the JBA lift or past lifts?

Run,run fast from rocky road, junk lifts and terrible service and most likely will be incomplete for the KK(brakes lines and new rear trac bar is a must for any KK lift).

Now that's a alright price! Are you the first JBA 4" lift? hmmm maybe I can be the second. The 16 people I went with were all interested in the 4" lift and want to see it on my ride on the next trip to see it in action.

As I still would need to get it installed and the custom brakelines (J-box) installed. It the stainless steel brakelines included in the this lift for the connection to the j-boxes? Why j-boxes? Why not just extend the brakelines if your gonna do all that work?

Are you not not getting the Cut Down CV axles or doing it yourself OR not doing it at this time??

How about the quick connects?

Could this lift be done in phases??

(My 4x4 day trip was easy as it was just a dirt fire road. There was one spot I tried and bottomed out on the muffler skid plate could have pushed my way over but figured that it was not worth it and just need a lift. Now a 2.5" 3" 3.5" or a 4" lift?? I just worry about going to tall and being more top heavy then i need to be...
