The Maryland Geocaching Society Nation's Capital Meet & Greet
http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_de ... f0af49c2c7

Everyone is invited to join us on Saturday, November 1, 2008 for this special event. This is a great opportunity for cachers from all over to join us in Washington, D.C. to share and exchange ideas, and talk about caching. The event will take place at the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry - House of the Temple. Over the past several months, the MGS assisted the Masons with developing geocaching guidelines. As a result, the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry has adopted a national geocache project and invited us to use their facility for a special event.

10:00 - Event sign-in and announcements.

11:00 - Dr. Brent Morris, renowned author and expert will lecture on Codes and Ciphers. This should be of great interest to all our puzzle cachers! Many of you may have seen Dr. Morris on the Discovery & History channels recent TV specials.

We are also waiting confirmation for several other special guest. Stay tuned to the MGS site for complete details.

10:30, 11:30 & 12:30 - Building Tours
This is a remarkable building and I think everyone will enjoy the architecture and history of this building!

1:00 - Door prize drawings!

Parking is limited so please car pool or take Metro. The event is a few blocks from either the Dupont Circle or U Street/Cardozza Metro Stations.

Please RSVP with a Will Attend on the cache page. We hope everyone will join us for this special event!

We just got word that groundspeak will have reps at the event, we also have a few coin vendors to be present.

If you know what the A.P.E. caches were about you are not going to want to miss the HUGH announcement about the our special project with the masons.
Its going to be way bigger than any thing groundspeak has ever done.
