I found a good deal for a Warn 9.5ti Thermometric 9500-lb brand new winch. Was wondering if it will be able to be used for our KJ's and also is $555 a good price?

i know i will not be able to use it as an in-mount winch, like an arb or RL, (correct me if i am wrong) but is it a good deal?

Pretty sure that's a 4.5x10" mount winch. Should fit ARB/RL/Detours. And what I would have bought, if I hadn't won a Smittybilt XRC8 in a raffle.

Oh, and that's a really good price for it, from what I've seen!

I just looked it up on the intarwebs and it's a 4.5x10" mount but, I don't own a ARB bumper so I can't be certain but, I don't see why it wouldn't fit.

ya you can easily use that on our KJs, the rule of thumb is 1.5X the weight of your vehicle, so say the KJ weighs 5000, 5000x1.5=7500 min.

You can't use the WARN 9.5TI in a ARB bumber, you can only use certian non-intergrated soliniod pack winches in a ARB.

The hitch mounted winch cradle is unsafe in my opinion, very unsafe for side pulls and the front hitch is not ment for that purpose and is not rated for that purpose and also reduces your front approach angle severly.Get the Detours BackBone system or wait just a little while longer(there coming soon, trust me) for 2 different style RL winch bumbers.

No! Get it, just hang on to it until you can get a RL bumper. Probably look 1000x better than an ARB, anyway.

speaking of winches. What do you guys think of this Canadian (Toronto) made winch. I'm thinking about getting it. Seems like the most bang for your buck.
