Brian, I will be able to make it. It will be Anne and me and toys.

We will have to meet you like last year so we don't get L O S T down there.

I am planning on going in the morning because we want to do things with my LIL man Devin.

our plan is to hang all day because of the OKTOBERFEST is going on that same day too.

I will post meeting time frame and spot in the orig post.

JeepDawg, got your pm, I’ve been busy so sorry I didn’t get back sooner. Right now I’ve got plans going on but I’ll see if I can move some things around. Any wheeling up there? It’d be great if we could find some trails even if they are just short ones. I’ll follow this post to keep track of the details, if anything changes I’ll let you know. The Octoberfest sounds nice too, I’ve never been to it up there.

Well if you can make it, that would be great. if not, we understand. There will allways be oither events.

I do not have any plans on wheeling that day. Maybe in a few weeks we can organize something

Hope I can make it after all. Looks like some of the wedding stuff is coming down to the wire and we have to visit some of the places to get things finalized.

On another note, you guys may want to have an alternate meeting site planned as a backup - My parents went (attempted to go...) to Bear Mt on Sunday for Octoberfest. Granted it was a holiday weekend and a gorgeous day but they said the traffice was so bad that it was early in the day when they got there (10 ish) and the cops were already flagging cars PAST the entrance to the park, the place was so filled up. My dad says people were parking up to 1.5 miles away and walking over. When he finally found a place along one of the roadsides where others were parked, a state trooper came along and was issuing tickets.

Just something to think about...... :?

Well the other place that most of you been to is my home in Cold Spring. We are entering the Peak, so every road around here will be congested.

Or a bigger central place could be I 84 & Rte 9.

Lets have lunch at Charlie Browns. Unlike the pie place, they will sit us all at one large table in the bar area where they have four TVs. While they don't have the large selection of pies, they do have a better lunch menu and their desert are nothing I would turn away.

LINKS:.

This is how you post phone numbers so they can't be machine copied by our modern day spammers. You post them as an image.

But I must warn everyone, I do not answer my cell unless I'm expecting a call.
