July 2003! We purchased the KJ that month and immediately hit a mountain trail. After bouncing the front diff off every 4" high rock on the trail my wife was like "can't you lift these things?" Soon after I found LOST on the old EZ Board...anybody else remember those days?

I bought my Liberty in May of '03 and started looking online for a place to find info on mods that could be done to the new Jeep. Found LOST on the old EZ Board around June and starting reading up on all the cool info. Officially joined in August of 2003 and have been here ever since. Just wish I still had the old girl (Liberty that is).

Bought my KJ in March 2004, did some dirt roads and was having issues with the front end. Decided to do some research online about it and found the old EZBoard. That must have been either late March or early April '04. Been LOST ever since.

I got L.O.S.T. in early September 04, bought the Liberty September 21, 04 . Found the site while at work by accident really, never drove a Liberty and wanted to see what others were doing with theirs. Actually never drove a Liberty until after I bought mine on line and they delivered it to me at home! Bought it in West Virginia never knowing I would soon move to where they build them!

Oh and Tokyojoe you being a trouble maker back then, I remember those days     ....But I was quiet and shy...I cause trouble now some would say.............

Around Sept. of '04, as well. I found this while doing some pre-purchase research. I bought my '05 the last week of Sept. '04.

Got the KJ in Jul 05 so I guess it took me a while to find this place, but I didn't know it existed and found it by accident. It was a nice accident.

Bought my KJ in June '08. The guy who sold it to me gave me a heads up on LOST. He mentioned the site was pretty good for info pertaining to the KJ. He gave me a casino style chip with the LOST website on it. Meanwhile, I wasn't sure what I was going to do with this KJ (because I hated cages), until I began reading submissions here by some of you who have modded your KJ's for off road use. Wow, if I have to drive a cage, this might be a fun one to own. Anyway, I lurked once or twice which led me to getting LOST about a week before actually signing up.

Oh and Tokyojoe, don't ever grow up. It's overrated.

hummm.. if i remember right i joined about sept. of 06... i had bought my KJ that summer. i believe i stumbled across the site looking for liberty's with 20inch black wheels... then came across the "post your pictures here" part of the site and instantly changed my views to offroading. I think it was "unixxx" maybe that forced me to spend all my money on offroad mod's.. it was my ideal jeep and i wanted mine to look like his.. haha. then i research began and i read.. or at least glance over every piece of information on the site. i knew this was the place for me when i came across this thread

http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/vie ... sc&start=0

from then on i was a KJ addict

Zack, you didn't say what year. You mentioned getting an `03 in August. Was it new and in `03 or used in a later year?

I got my liberty on a cool fall day the 21st of September,2007. That night went online and found the lost website when looking for info on lift kits. I became an official member of L.O.S.T in January. Have been lost ever since and its great. THANKS for all the info guys and girls
